How do I get my computer to recognize my DVD burner?
I installed (or so I thought) a new writer DVD, but it does not appear in My Computer. It ejects when I push the button so I think it is connected OK. I lost the installation CD but the driver downloaded from the internet, but when I tried to install it, even the driver said there had no recorder. Help! I use Windows and the burner is a Pioneer DVR-111D. When I look for new hardware, Windows can not find it. I think I could have both my CD burner and DVD-Writer set to master so I will try to change that, but I'm sure it would not have such an effect.
yep riders are bad, 1 has got to be put to the slave master and 1 if the same tape, the gray plug is always master
